2024 is off to a flying start! In January, we
hosted the 42 Balloons press launch,
revealed the remarkable grand total of our Festive Appeal,
and welcomed sensational productions like The King & I,
Calendar Girls, Murder in the Dark and more to the
Lyric stage.
Starting from Saturday 10th February, we will be
celebrating Lunar New Year at The Lowry, alongside a range
of East Asian and South East Asian communities in Salford and
Greater Manchester.
To mark the Year of the Dragon, why not join us
for performances from our Artist Development team Scratch Nights X New Earth Academy+
and Shen Yun, or enjoy Golden
Mushroom and Black Bean Spring Rolls with noodles and sweet
chilli sauce (for a limited time only!) at our Pier Eight Bar
& Restaurant?

Musical Takes Off!

press event! Produced in association with The Lowry,
and with a new cast and songs just announced, we
couldn’t be more excited for the musical's arrival
this April.

We're
Going on a Bear Hunt Livestream
This Christmas,
children in hospitals and hospices were able to
experience a live-streamed performance of We’re
Going on a Bear Hunt, direct from The Lowry,
bringing the magic of theatre direct to families who
need it most.

Festive
Appeal 2023
We are thrilled
that this year’s Festive Appeal has raised
over £56,000! A huge thank you for your
generosity and support. The donations will fund our
life-changing programme of creative engagement work
with children and young people across Salford.
