Lying Together @ Seven


Tomorrow, Thursday 29th February 7pm, South Asian Arts UK – Poetry in Song, we embark on a journey to celebrate women in music.Traditionally this date is synonymous with a twist in roles and gender norms, where women propose to their lovers and whisk them away to marital bliss. £15 full / £7 conc / £5 Under 30s.

Just a handful of tickets remaining for Sandy Smith – A Night of the Stars on Friday 1st March 7.30pm. Sandy performs a  stylish celebration of music from some of the most legendary artistes of all time, from Shirley Bassey, Barbara Streisand, right up to Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Abba, Queen and many more. Each track is handpicked to ‘wow ‘and entertain. £13.

On Saturday 2nd March 4-6pm the first of the Spring Sessions – Jon Palmer Trio, featuring 3 members of the 6 piece ‘Jon Palmer Acoustic Band'. Same positive attitude, and same compelling mix of uplifting and original folk, roots, and rock ‘n’ roll. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel.

In the evening on Saturday 2nd March, 7.30pm, Lying Together is a black comedy about sex and deception. Completely improvised by award-winning comedians, each show is based on an anonymous confession chosen by the audience. Let’s find out why we lie to the people we love. Act Of The Year 2019. 16+. £10.

JazzLeeds – Andy Panayi with the Richard Wetherall Trio perform on Sunday 3rd March, 1.30- 4pm. Andy Panayi is an exceptionally gifted jazz musician, playing flute and saxophone while Richard Wetherall is one of the finest piano players on the Northern scene. £12 full / £10 conc. Kids under 16 free.

Also on Sunday 3rd March, 7pm, rounding off the weekend, the Sunday Quiz. Test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a great way to end the weekend with friends and family. This and every Sunday. £5 per team entry. 7pm start. With prizes.
