Keeper
of the Flame @ Seven
Lots to look forward to this week at Seven, starting with tomorrow, Wednesday 20th September
6-7.15pm, with Rush Hour Jazz – Tina
Featherstone. Tina is a North Yorkshire based clarinet and
sax player and will be guest artist with the jazz Leeds trio – Steve
Crocker on bass, Andy Cholerton on keys and John Arnesen on drums. Seven Bar. PWYF.
Also, tomorrow, Wednesday
20th September, 8pm, Cafe Scientifique.
Dr Rob Lawlor, lecturer in applied ethics at the University of Leeds,
talks on the subject of Rationing – as a Response to Climate Change. He
discusses whether rationing be more effective and fairer than the
carbon trading schemes we have now? Seven

On Friday 22nd
September 7.30pm, Keeper of the Flame.
Spain 1937. International goalkeeper, George Gilbert, finds himself
awaiting the firing squad!! This one man comedy drama, written and
performed by Rob Adams, is an enthralling and witty piece of theatre
about football, history, politics and more. £12.
As a taster to our Autumn Sessions of music in the bar, Little Mistakes
perform on Saturday
23rd September, 4-6pm. The trio combines subtle and
atmospheric musicianship with the sophisticated song writing of Adam
Wolstenholme and Louise Starks. Seven

Also on Saturday 23rd
September 7pm, is South Asian Arts Music Evening, Lost Raga & The
Infinite Road From zerOclassikal the Divergence
series, SAA-uk proudly presents a double bill featuring Giuliano Modar
elli and Kitha Balakrishnan. £17
