struggles affecting the small Yorkshire mining community of Grimley.
A community that's fighting to maintain dignity and hope
when it has it's heart ripped out by Government pit closures of the
1980s.
It is a story of triumph, music and the human spirit over
hardship and despondency.

A Perfect Likeness

Reclusive writer and photographer Charles Dodgson (also
known as ‘Lewis Carroll’) invites celebrity author Charles Dickens to his
Oxford home to pose for a portrait.
Dickens is so intrigued by the whimsical Alice's
Adventures in Wonderland that he accepts. What ensues is a baring of two
creative souls, the one private and fastidious, the other boisterous and
irreverent.
The result is a hilarious and revealing conversation
between two quirky, fascinating, and completely different men.

From the birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll through to the Beat Group
sounds of the British Invasion and beyond, the show is packed with over
forty hits from the likes of Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Buddy Holly,
Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Ronettes, Cliff Richard, Cilla Black and
many more.
Performed by a full live band, featuring some of the
country's top musicians, this incredible show features excellent vocals,
tight harmonies and an infectious sense of fun.
