The Women's
Comedy Workshop: Online

Radicle Comedy is a participatory project that
invites women to experiment with comedy, humour and laughter in a
safe and supportive environment.
It was set up by Natalie Diddams in 2016. Natalie
is a Manchester-based theatre director and academic researcher,
who recently completed a PhD on the importance of humour within
fourth wave feminism.
In the last few weeks Natalie - working alongside Sophie G
Collins and Isma Almas - have taken a group of
women through an introduction to stand-up comedy culminating
in an online performance on Saturday
27 February.
This is where you
come in.
The Women's Comedy Workshop: Online will showcase brand new
comedians who have been part of this project. These events always
attract a great crowd made up of enthusiastic and supportive
people looking for a good laugh. With that in mind,
we'd love for you to join!
