Ireland's Legendary Matchmaking Festival

The island of Ireland has long been a place of myth and legend - so it is perhaps unsurprising to add the legendary Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival in county Clare to its list of credentials. This month-long festival takes place in September every year and centres around third generation, traditional Irish matchmaker Willie Daly. There's also a whole host of parties, live music and DJs to get everyone in the spirit of things.

We'd like to wish everyone a very happy Valentine's Day this weekend, and for all the singletons out there - the best is yet to come!
