Dear all
We'd like to wish you all a safe and happy New
Year. And to welcome you back to LWC's first live event of 2021.
We are excited to announce that the speaker will be Silé Edwards
of the Mushens Entertainment
agency.
Silé has already been shortlisted for a 2021
Trailblazer Awards! The award, run by The London Book Fair, the
Publishers Association, and supported by the Society of Young
Publishers and Book Brunch recognises twelve industry
professionals under the age of 30 “who are demonstrating
innovation, flair and ambition in the book industry.”
Silé joined Mushens Entertainment in 2020 and has
already secured 5 deals for her clients in the past few months.
And she has joined with Avon to set up the Avon x Mushens
Entertainment Prize for Commercial Fiction Writers of Colour.
Join us to find out what is on her wish list and exactly what she
is looking for in a submission.
If you are not a
member, please buy an advance ticket and
we’ll send you the link to register on the day of the event.
If you are a member, no need to register, we will
send you a link on the day of the event.
