live shows, tonight we’re streaming a
sneak peek!

from Leeds. Hear all
about our exciting new events and
innovative digital projects, go
behind-the-scenes with our cast and
creative teams, and enjoy live musical
performances from guest artists and
members of the Orchestra and Chorus of
Opera North. Set a YouTube reminder

to our YouTube channel to receive a
notification when we go live.
The
excitement doesn’t stop there either,
we’ve just added new events
to our Switch ON season! Determined to
keep sharing music with you all despite
the many challenges and restrictions we
face, our Switch ON season has been
designed to reach people all over the
North of England and beyond. More than
14,000 tickets are available for events
in the Switch ON Season, at over 40
different venues, with 79% of tickets
either free, pay-as-you-feel, or priced
at under £15. We are delighted to
invite you all to share an
extraordinary experience with us once
more this Autumn.

Tonight's programme
Hosted
by BBC Radio 3’s Suzy Klein, the
concert ranges from a heartrending duet
from Act III of Puccini’s La bohème,
to an extract from Jasdeep Singh
Degun‘s concerto for sitar and
orchestra, Arya. To see the full

Switch ON Season
Announcement
New
events have been added to our Switch ON
season. Taking place this Autumn, we
are delighted to announce a double bill
of Handel’s Acis and Galatea and
Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins, a
concert tour of Beethoven’s only opera Fidelio,
and a festive Whistle Stop tour of Cinderella.
