Alison Taft and Anna Turner are running another Writing Retreat at Wentworth Castle, full details below:
Following on from the
success of last year’s writing retreat, Alison Taft and Anna Turner are
running another at the magnificent House of Wentworth Castle, the Grade 1
listed home of Northern College, from 1st July 2019 to 5th July 2019
Alison
and Anna are both published writers and experienced creative writing tutors. They have
worked together on many retreats and are passionate about enabling writers to
find their voice and express themselves through the written word.
The
course includes morning workshops, one to one tutorials, small group work,
feedback and writing time. Writers will be encouraged to share work and be joined by a surprise guest. There will also be plenty of time for individual
work.
Check
in is available from 12 o’clock on Monday. The course starts with dinner on
Monday evening and includes full board and accommodation in single en-suite
bedrooms. The course ends with a celebration on the Thursday night before
checking out on Friday morning.
Attendees are welcome to stay for the day on Friday - there is a beautiful library with
stunning views in which to work.
The cost for the course is £450. Booking requires a deposit of
