Creative Kirklees Newsletter 19 March 2019


There's great variety for you in the newsletter this week – from Thai Chi at Oakwell to Singing Rock and Pop at Bagshaw.  With a great choice of music, theatre, literature, talks, comedy, workshops, classes and exhibitions – there really is something for everyone!
And with the Huddersfield Literature Festival launching this week, there will be events going on all around the town!
The 2018/19 Kirklees Concert Season is drawing to a close with the last lunchtime concerts taking place next week and the last orchestral concert coming up on 4 April – so if you fancy giving one a go, get your skates on, otherwise you will have to wait for the new season to start in September!

Creative Kirklees Newsletter 12 March 2019


Only a week to go before this year’s Huddersfield Literature Festival.  From 21-31 March this award-winning festival takes place in venues across Huddersfield with a range of author talks, performance poetry, workshops, multi-arts events and the delicious Literary Afternoon Tea. We’ve picked out a few events in the newsletter but you can see all the Huddersfield Literature Festival events on Creative Kirklees or the festival’s website - get your tickets while you can!
