Cheese-Pull, Anyone?!
This
Sunday (and three Sundays in March!), prepare to roll up your sleeves for
another installment of 'Make Mozz Drink Wine' at Kesté’s Fulton Street
location, where you’ll spend two hours learning how to make (and taste, duh!)
some of the freshest mozzarella you’ll find in New York City.
Not only will you
gain hands-on experience, but you’ll also enjoy complimentary glasses of
house red and white wines for the afternoon (did somebody say, “SUNDAY
FUNDAY!?”) while learning first-hand all about mozzarella.

Short Story Selection
The
city at night can be a dark and dangerous place.
What creeps in the
shadows and lurks around the street corners might leave you chilled to the
bone and want to start carrying around some pepper spray just in case.
Check out this
dark and twisted, horror noir short story that’ll have you losing your head.

Win Art
Celebrate
Women's History Month by visiting Bianca Romero's latest mural located at 907
Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn NY.
This wintery
expression leverages spray paint, acrylic, and collage works to visualize a scene
in collaboration with Knob Creek, Maker's Mark, Basil Hayden's, and Jim Beam.
On March 12th we
will pick a lucky winner to receive a signed print and bottle of Maker's Mark
courtesy of The Culture LP.

Hello
New York,
To even out the
disparity of women to men statues City officials are putting
four women on pedestals. 👭🗽💁♀️
Lighthouses may
only be acknowledged for your instagram aesthetic, but Staten Island was once
the national
supplier of the industry for 100 years. Read more about The hidden Staten
Island history here. 🕯🚢🔎
We’re a fourth of
the way into the year, and New York has already fished out some yummy eats (vegan
Arabic sandwiches and delicious onion soup to name a few). Here’s where
to eat this month. 🍽🥪🍜

Finger Frame
Kasmin
is pleased to present A Different Pose, the gallery’s first solo exhibition
of new paintings by Cologne-based artist Jan-Ole Schiemann. Schiemann’s
paintings are grounded in both gestural abstraction and the history of
20th-century animation, aspects that combine to imbue his work with a rare
sense of kinetic energy.
Half-formed,
simultaneously disappearing and reappearing shapes suggest that somewhere
amidst the lines, there are figures tumbling, colliding, or fighting obscured
by clouds of smoke.

Short Story Selection
The
streets of a big city can be dangerous at night, especially when the
supernatural come out to feed. We follow a group of vampires living in
run-down houses outside of central Baltimore.
Their minds have
eroded and they refer to themselves and their dead victims both as meat. The
living things they hunt are known as flesh. They seem to be driven by both
the thirst and their fading human traits. When one of their group does not
return from a hunt, tempers flare and empty threats are made, but none of
them seem to care all that much. They simply feel as if they should.
