Sounds of Summer @ Seven

Anything Could Happen returns on Sunday 9 June, 1-2pm. Improvising children’s ideas on the spot and bringing their stories to life before their eyes, this event is engaging, creative and hilarious. Join us to see what stories your children have to tell. Suitable for 4 – 12 year olds. £3 otd.

Also on Sunday 9 June, 2-4pm is our first Summer Jazz in the Bar – Brendan Duffy and Jenny Hammond. Organised by JazzLeeds, today with Leeds favourite saxman (also singer, clarinettist, big band leader and sometime dancer) Brendan Duffy and sophisticated jazz vocalist Jenny Hammond, supported by the JazzLeeds trio. PWYF.

On Wednesday 13 June, 8pm, look out for, Seven Live – Chris Martin and Scott Wainwright. This month, two legendary Yorkshire music scene stalwarts - expect foot-stomping folk, soul-stirring gospel, good time blues. And special guests, Sueli Gil, with uplifing Brazillia, Bossa Nova, Latin Jazz and excellent guitarist / singer songwriter Amy Griffiths. £7 on the door.

Chapel Allerton Beer Festival comes to Seven on Thursday 16 June, 7pm onwards with a Tap Takeover and Meet the Brewer. Ridgeside Brewery is helping us celebrate the beer festival by taking over 5 or 6 of our taps. Sample beers and find out more about the brewing process from Brewery Manager, Josh Waldock. Also, live music in the bar from Revive and ’pop up’ Indian food. Special beer prices.

Also from Thursday 14 June - Sunday 15 July it is World Cup Russia 2018 – Live @ Seven. Watch England games on the BIG SCREEN and other matches in the bar throughout the competition in the relaxed Seven atmosphere. Free.

And at the weekend on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June, 7.30pm, Spud Theatre – The Woman In White. In this adaptation of the classic Victorian ‘sensation novel’ by Wilkie Collins, Laura Glyde's interests have been neglected by her uncle and her fortune by default falls to her husband on her death. This provides the motive for the conspiracy of her unscrupulous husband and his co-conspirator Fosco. £10 /£8 conc

Pub in the Park

Tom Kerridge's Pub in the Park is on tour for 2018, and this weekend it's heading to Bath's Royal Victoria Park. Dust off your dancing shoes for the likes of Tom Odell, Razorlight and Mel C, and feast on top-notch festival food from Angela Hartnett and Paul Ainsworth.

World Gin Day

Get involved as London's best bars celebrate World Gin Day with a four-day extravaganza of gin-related fun. Anthony Bourdain's death is a tragic loss to the food and culture community and opens up a wider discussion about fame and depression.

Pride Marches On
