After weeks of reading and many hours of discussions, we are proud to announce our Finalists for 2018’s Short Film Fund.

This year has seen a higher number of entries than ever before. The talent and craft on show has made this the hardest Film Fund to judge yet!
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to those who made it through.
A heart-felt thanks to all of you who chose to participate in our Fund, and for making it such a high-quality contest.
The 2018 Short Film Fund Finalists represent the top 2% of Short scripts entered into this year's contest.

Our overall Winner (or Winners) will be announced 6th June.

The Naked Man won 2017's Short Film Fund.

IN POST PRODUCTION
Ben Gutteridge directed the short which was filmed in LA in April.
An Invisible Man’s hopes of being seen again are unleashed by a fascinating blind girl – Without love, are we invisible?
“It means a lot to have a competition like Shore Scripts recognise my writing and of course to get the chance to make my film. THANK YOU!”
Cast: Alisha Boe (13 Reasons Why) and Daryl Sabara (Spy Kids). 

The Orgy was awarded funding through the 2017 Shore Scripts Short Film Fund.
The Orgy is a romantic comedy about a heartbroken man who throws caution to the wind and goes to an orgy.
Cast: Amit Shah (Crashing), Alexandra Roach (Utopia), Dustin Demri-Burns (Cardinal Burns) and Kerry Godliman (Derek). Written and directed by Sam Baron, winner of the Academy’s Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship.

Salam (previous called Lift) won 2016's Short Film Fund

Written and directed by Claire Fowler
A female Lyft driver navigates the night shift in NYC while waiting to hear life or death news from Syria.
