For my followers who live in or near London, here are details of experiences at the London Coffee Festival this April:
The London Coffee Festival is back, and we’ve got some
exciting plans to share with you…
At the festival, you’ll be able to embark on a journey of
coffee discovery.
Tastings? Check. Demonstrations from world-class roasters?
Of course. And cocktails? You bet.
We
want you to get the most out of your experience, so this year, we’ve
added a whole new floor to discover and a killer line-up of festival
newbies. Check them out below.

Explore
a Brand-New Floor
There’s
a whole new floor of coffee experiences for you to discover and enjoy.
Relax in the newly designed VIP suite by La Marzocco, and sample
incredible flavours in The Tasting Room. Get your thinking caps on at
The Lab; now three times bigger than before, it’s a dynamic place to
learn, debate and experience. The UK barista championships will also
take place in this exciting space, so take your seat to see coffee in
competition at its highest level.

Discover
the Sensory Bar
Tap
into your senses at the debut La Cimbali Sensory Bar. You’ll be served
a selection of three exceptional coffees, all sourced specifically for
The London Coffee Festival. Sample each coffee three different ways, as
served by your barista, for the ultimate exploration of flavour. Next
door, head to the La Cimbali Benchmark Bar, where the crown champions
from our Coffee Mixologists competition will be pouring their finest
serves. Stay tuned for further news, due to drop very soon.

Party
at The Espresso Martini Bar
The
Baileys Espresso Martini Bar is returning, along with a twist: the Flat
White Martini. Stop by to try this luxurious reworking of the classic
espresso martini at the Espresso Martini Party on Friday night. Can’t
attend launch night? The bar will be open for business all
festival-long. Mixing it up this year are Sandows Cold Brew, who’ll be
joining the party with their espresso martini made with Ketel One Vodka
and Mr Black. We’ve still got ten weeks until the festival, but
dry January is now over, so click here for Baileys cocktail recipes.

Embark
on a Journey of Coffee
The
House of Coffee opens to all visitors for the first time, focusing on
the coffee journey from bean to cup. Discover raw green coffee beans,
learn as they are live-roasted and brewed using different techniques.
Roasting specialists Colonna Coffee, Taylor St Baristas and IKAWA are
just some of the exciting brands who’ll be there to help you along.
It’s the perfect first-stop for anyone new to coffee; you’ll see, smell
and taste your way through the holistic coffee experience.

And
all Your Favourites are Back
What’s
a festival without its headliners? Cheer on your favourite baristas at
Coffee Masters, our battle-style barista competition. The True Artisan
Café returns with a stellar line up of specialty coffee roasters and
cafes set to take over La Marzocco’s legendary machines, and Union
Hand-Roasted are on hand with their famous flavour challenge. The latte
art legends are back in town for Latte Art Live; you’ve seen them on Instagram, but
now they’re pouring right in front of you. Be inspired, pick up tips
and sip on all the coffee you can take.
