Creative Kirklees Newsletter 28 October 2015

We’ve picked out some spooky Halloween events for you this week and today’s murky, gloomy weather should get you in the mood!

Join Creative Scene for the
HeckmondFRIGHT ghost walk and discover terrible tales on this walking tour of Heckmondwike – but which will you choose the Fairly Frightening or the Truly Terrifying walk?
In Huddersfield on Saturday night the
LBT’s Hallowe'en Happening brings a frightful feast of all things outlandish and macabre with live music, exhibitions, magic and performances materialising all over the LBT building.
Over the Halloween weekend Live at Vinyl Tap has performances from the
X-Ray Cat Trio and Hooton Tennis Club (yes, they are a band!).   The X-Ray Cat Trio will be launching their appropriately names album 'Out For Blood'.
Paddock Community’s
Halloween Party will bring fun and scares for all the family, with video projections, scary creations, giant puppets and a fancy dress contest to get you in the mood.
A first for Mirfield is the
Mirfield Muertos Festival by Callaloo Carnival Arts.  Join them on Sunday 1 November as they honour & celebrate the lives of our Ancestors in traditional Mexican style!

Whatever you do, have a chilling week!
P.S If you want something a little less scary there are still plenty of other events going on for the rest of the week.
