Creative Kirklees newsletter

Here is the latest Creative Kirklees newsletter for my followers to peruse:

Creative Kirklees

Creative Kirklees Newsletter 25 November 2015

We’re getting into the Christmas spirit already with seasonal art and craft fairs popping up and Christmas lights being switched on across Kirklees, so take the chance to do some present shopping and support our local artists and crafters.  If you’ve got events and activities going on for Christmas make sure you’ve put them on Creative Kirklees and we’ll help spread the word.

For those groups and organisations who are already thinking beyond Christmas to next year’s outdoor event then you might be interested in a new series of free training sessions for Kirklees-based community organisations and groups. The Event Training Programme is aimed mainly at those groups who organise outdoor events such as festivals, galas, parades and music concerts with expected audiences of over 500.  The sessions will help guide you through some of the planning, logistics and information needed to help you run a successful and safe event.  Booking is essential and more information is in Opportunities below.
Have you filled in the
Kirklees Creative Sector Survey yet? If not you’ve only got until this Thursday (26 November) to complete the survey and help build the picture of the creative sector in Kirklees.

We can't include everything that's going on in the newsletter so have just given you a taste of the many events going on this week.  To ensure you don't miss anything keep checking Creative Kirklees and  follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
