Here is the latest Creative Kirklees newsletter, featuring lots of fabulous upcoming events in and around Kirklees:

Creative Kirklees

Creative Kirklees Newsletter 29 April 2015

There’s something in the air and it’s not just spring!  It’s the start of the season of many local festivals that run in Kirklees over the next few months.  We’ve highlighted those that are on Creative Kirklees so that you can plan ahead and get your tickets sorted.  If you run a festival make sure it’s on the site so that we can help promote it and don’t forget to add news items in the run up to the event to announce your headline act or the main highlight of your event.

Make a note of these event dates so you don’t miss anything:
Golcar Lilly Day, 9 May Cleckheaton Literature Festival, 7 – 10 May Shepley Spring Festival, 15 – 17 May Grand Northern Ukulele Festival 22 - 24 May Cleckheaton Folk Festival, 3- 5 July Holmfirth ArtWeek, 5 – 11 July The Tour de Yorkshire Festival culminates this weekend with the cycle race taking place from Friday – Sunday.  It comes through Kirklees on Sunday so check the route for road closures.  You can experience the Tour de Yorkshire and enjoy some art at the same time: from the comfort of the Enjoy Art gallery in Marsden with a visual journey across the stunning local landscape or A View of Yorkshire, an exhibition of local photographers at Hepworth Village Hall.
Enjoy a creative cycling weekend!
