Cleckheaton Literature Festival have just announced their next event, a Gillian Rogerson children's event on Saturday 9 May 10-12 at Cleckheaton Library. In this interactive children’s event with Yorkshire children’s author Gillian Rogerson, shortlisted for the Waverton Good Read Award, readings, activities and art will give a creative introduction to reading. Gillian is the author of Happy Birthday Santa, The Smallest Hero, and Teddy Bear Scare, You Can’t Eat a Princess and... her story, It’s War in the Playground, published in Scholastic’s anthology WOW! 366. She will be signing copies of these, and her latest, You Can’t Scare a Princess, with personal dedications to the reader.
