Sunday may be the final day of Bradford Literature Festival but they day is still packed with fantastic events. Book now to avoid disappointment as many are nearly sold out.

Darley Street Market celebrates its 1st birthday this weekend (11 & 12 July).

On Saturday there'll be creative workshops, live music from Darren Ellis Music and an evening DJ set from DJ&USERNAME%.

The live music continues on Sunday with singer songwriter Sarah Widdup who is back by popular demand. She'll be helping Northern Monk Brewery celebrate their first birthday with selected acoustic covers and timeless favourites.

Mess Call at the Buffalo Naval Park

World War II Reenactors from across the country

will bring the ships to life

July 17-18 is Mess Call at the Buffalo Naval Park! In partnership with the Military History Preservation Group, reenactors from across the United States will gather to bring USS The Sullivans and USS Little Rock to life.


World War II-era food will be prepared from the U.S. Navy cookbook in USS Little Rock’s galley with samples available to the public. The ship’s company will conduct general quarters and gunnery drills on USS The Sullivans. Visitors will also participate in hands-on activities, and learn about radio communications with the Radio Association of Western New York. This is an event history buffs and food fanatics alike will not want to miss!


Mess Call at the Buffalo Naval Park will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 17-18, from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The Buffalo Naval Park is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

 

Operating schedules and availability are subject to change. Last ticket is sold one hour before the Naval Park closes. Visit our website to learn more about guided toursgroup visitsovernight youth encampments, and other programs.
