Game On

Our exciting summer exhibition opens this month

Get set for Game On, the world’s largest interactive exhibition about the history and culture of video games, opening Sat 29 Jun. From Space Invaders to Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario to Minecraft, play more than 100 arcade, handheld and console games spanning the last 50 years. Explore the creative and technological advances that have revolutionised the games we play, the wider cultural impact of the industry, and Scotland’s own vibrant gaming sector.

On the first Sunday of each month, we will be offering Relaxed Viewings where visitor numbers will be reduced and the volume of some games turned down.

Exhibition curated and organised by the Barbican Centre.
