Hear world premieres by three rising stars in the culminating concert of the Philharmonia Orchestra’s programme for exceptional composers from diverse backgrounds.

Chaka Khan's Meltdown

FRI 14 – SUN 23 JUN

The iconic singer and musician brings her incredible voice and global influence to Meltdown, alongside a sensational selection of artists spanning jazz, R&B, soul and more.

Our Riverside Terrace stage hosts free sets by Habibti Nation, London Queer Soundsystem Day, Sisters in Dub and Vibe Village along with a dance battle, cabaret and futuretense musicians. Plus, find free celebrations of Chaka Khan across the rest of the Southbank Centre throughout the festival.

SAT 29 JUN – SUN 9 SEP

Find a warm welcome with us this summer, with spectacular and thought-provoking performance, art, conversations, music and family fun exploring why we all feel the very human need to belong in our communities and our spaces.

It’s set to be a summer to remember, so come and find your spark with us as we celebrate what makes all of us belong at the Southbank Centre.

Sound Within Sound

THU 4 – SUN 7 JUL

Open your ears to music's lost pioneers, and uncover the lives and works of international musicians who pushed the boundaries of classical music.

Slow down and be engulfed in music with Éliane Radigue’s Occam Ocean, follow the winding journey from river to sea at Annea Lockwood's River Maps, and catch record label nonclassical as they take over our Riverside Terrace with specially curated live DJ sets.
