National Centre for Writing call out for shows, deadline 23 September

Hello lovely followers, after a relaxing break away in Brittany, France, where there was no access to wi-fi, I am back. Sorry for the lack of blog posts whilst I was away but I promise we are back up and running as normal now with news below of a call out for shows:

The National Centre for Writing have put a call-out for shows to perform in pubs and community spaces, full details below:

We want your show! We want your show! Applications are now open to join the INN CROWD and perform live literature in pubs and community spaces INN CROWD is a programme of high quality live literature performances touring to rural pubs across the UK from 2019-2022. It helps reinforce pubs as central to rural community life by bringing exceptional cultural experiences to new audiences. INN CROWD offers funding, bookings, development support, and publicity to support brilliant live literature artists. Shows, sets or performances may include elements of theatre, poetry, spoken word, storytelling, literary adaptation, comedy, live art and audience participation … but the starting point for performances must be written or composed text. Applications are now open to join the INN CROWD and perform in front of exciting new audiences. Deadline: 5pm, Monday 23 September 2019. INN CROWD is a collaboration between Applause Rural Touring, Creative Arts East,  and the National Centre for Writing.
