outrageous as the original novel, this critically acclaimed
production brings Adrian’s story to life for a new generation

The love-child of Rocky Horror and a Greek God... Drag
sensation Vicky Vox stars in a rollercoaster fusion of
musical theatre, twisted circus and breathtaking
burlesque… ZEUS ON THE LOOSE is BACK!
Following its sell-out run at the 2018 Camden Fringe,
the show is transferring for FOUR WEEKS ONLY to the iconic Fire nightclub
in Vauxhall - used as a theatre venue for the
very first time - where the audience is invited to mix and mingle
with the cast before and after the show.
The Show
Strictly for adults and not for the fainthearted, Zeus
on the Loose is a wild and wanton take on some of the most famous
tales from ancient Greek mythology: A mythical fusion of burlesque,
circus & drag that’ll leave you saying Oh My Gods!
Following its sell-out run at the 2018 Camden Fringe,
the show is transferring for FOUR WEEKS ONLY to Fire - used as a
theatre venue for the very first time - where the audience is invited
to mix and mingle with the cast before and after the show.
The Cast
Mythical figures taking the stage include our emcee
Apollo (Dean McCullough, Gaydio); a randy bisexual Zeus
(Michael Afemare, Dreamgirls); his scheming scorned wife Hera
(international cabaret star Penni Tovey); and the sinister underworld
guardian Hades (Vicky
Vox, Little Shop of Horrors).
Vicky Vox achieved global fame from appearing in the
drag parody-band DWV (whose song "Boy Is A Bottom"
currently has over 22 million views) and Magic Mike XXL. In London,
she won (and devoured) our hearts as Audrey II in Open Air Theatre’s
Little Shop Of Horrors, for which she was nominated for Best Actress
in a Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards - as well as co-hosting the
awards ceremony!
The Venue
As one of London’s longest standing and leading
nightclubs, Fire offers a multi-roomed quality programme of local and
international bespoke events. Outdoor terrace and bars, covered
queuing, and late licenses mean the party never stops!
Fire is adjacent to the Vauxhall Street Food Garden,
which offers a relaxing atmosphere for a light bite or a pre-show
cocktail. Just a 30 second stroll from Vauxhall Station, the Garden
offers a wide selection of your favourite cuisines from around the
globe.

BOOK
NOW
Sergei Rachmaninoff has it all; world-wide fame from a
single composition by the age of 19, commissioned to write his
first symphony at 20 and engaged to the love of his life, Natalya.
But at 21 he is crippled with a depressive paranoia and anxiety.
His world has imploded, his work has stopped, he cannot even lift a
pencil to compose a simple melody. Such is the power of the men who
sought to destroy him, who haunt his waking nightmares and poison
his dreams. And when those men happen to be the greatest artists of
their day, how do you come back, how do you escape the darkness and
come into the light?
Based on a true story of Rachmaninoff’s sessions of
hypnotherapy, Preludes is an extraordinary new musical by
three-time Tony Award-nominee Dave Malloy. It examines the crippling
debilitation and harm the world can do to people, and how the
dramatic and musical process can be used as therapy to restore them
back into the fullest of creative lives.
Using live piano and electronics, Malloy uses a hybrid
of his own and Rachmaninoff’s compositions to create a dream-like
world that takes us to the darkest recesses of Rachmaninoff’s mind.
