Shakespeare's Henry IV - Part 1
Theatre Space North East - Tue 1st - Wed 2nd Aug August, 7PM.

The old king, Richard, is dead. He was overthrown by Henry Bolingbroke, King Henry IV, but his reign is not going well. His conscience is troubling him, there are signs of rebellion already on the horizon from people who helped him to the throne and his son Prince Hal, refuses to live up to his role and would rather stick to the tavern. This classic piece explores honor, loyalty and the cost of power.

Please note: this is an outside promenade performance and audiences will be required to move around the castle groups in order to view the production. Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of the castle and its grounds, some of the performance locations will be inaccessible to wheelchairs and motorised scooters.
Tickets are £14 for adults and £12.50 for children (to 16 years) and concessions.
