The closing date for the 2017 competition is fast approaching. Entries close at midnight BST on Wednesday 31 May. The last few days are an incredibly busy time here. S.M. Misra won the Peggy Chapman-Andrews Award for a First Novel in 2016. Now signed to A.M. Heath Literary Agents, she has been a mentee on The Literary Consultancy’s Chapter & Verse mentoring scheme as part of her prize.
