Slung Low HUB 14 May 2017

This Sunday sees an opera come to Slung Low HUB Leeds, details below:

In The Best of Both Worlds: A Busker’s Opera, Matthews and Burtin make a song and dance of their financial woes. To make this piece, they’ve met with a host of different people from street market traders to CEOs to take the temperature of how people feel about the UK’s class system.
Featuring pop songs, French street music classics and audience participation, this performance will resonate with anyone who has ever worried about money, or felt squeezed by our capitalist society. If you’re lucky, you might even get paid to join the performers onstage!
By reserving a ticket for this performance you will automatically
be added to Quay Ticket’s mailing list.
This performance has a limited capacity, so should you change your mind before the event, please let us know by emailing boxoffice@slunglow.org to ensure we do not turn others away unnecessarily.
The performance is “Pay What You Decide” –
you decide how much to pay after you have seen the performance.
All monies are then given directly to the performing company.
Please note the venue is cash only, and there is a cash machine 2mins walk from the venue on the corner of Water Lane and Marshall St.

On street parking is available at the venue.
We look forward to welcoming you to The HUB soon.
