The latest news and events from Creative Scene...           In early October, National Poetry Day woos the poetic amongst us. Whether you speak your love in a warm Yorkshire accent, a sweet Urdu ghazal or to beats like Jay-Z, come and share it with us.  Join us in celebrating our love for language in our distinctive local styles at our Open Mic    Where: Sensory World              Old Westgate         Dewsbury           WF13 1NB When: Friday 7th Oct 2016 7:00pm – 9:00pm   Food and drink will be provided, you bring the words.
