Brassed Off... Friday 9th September & Saturday 10th Brighouse Civic Hall

We are delighted to have been able to bring Brassed Off the play to Brighouse.
Adapted from the screenplay by Paul Allen this professional production features live music by the BD1 Brass Band. Currently on tour around Yorkshire this theatrical version has gathered some great reviews.
Brassed Off is high on many people's list of favourite films.
Where there's muck there's brass...in this case the Grimley colliery brass band. The miners who stood firm throughout the 1984 strike face a renewed redunandcy ballot that threatens the future of the colliery and a century of brass band tradition. Full of northern humour and pathos, as my colleague said, "Brighouse is in for a real treat!"
