Coming up in Kirklees this weekend is Heritage Open Day 2016, featuring free to enter for both Oakwell Hall and Red House, plus Heritage Tours of Dewsbury:

Oakwell Hall and Red House are free to enter next weekend (10-11 Sept). There are craft activities for all children at Red House and traditional craft activities at Oakwell Hall. Find out more on our website.

Maybe you fancy a Heritage tour of Dewsbury? There will also be free tours of Dewsbury town centre and Dewsbury Minster Tower.

Local businesses get involved with National Youth Market

Three Kirklees businesses are taking part in the National Youth Market in Manchester. It's taking place this weekend and features traders from all around the country - the businesses were put forward by our Alternative Market.

Classic Motorbike Show 2016 - rev your engines!

Love old motors? Love history? Tolson Museum will have a range of motorcycle on display next Sunday. The museum will also be open for visitors after they've taken a look at the bikes.
