Make a note of these event dates so you don’t miss anything: Golcar Lilly Day, 9 May Cleckheaton Literature Festival, 7 – 10 May Shepley Spring Festival, 15 – 17 May Grand Northern Ukulele Festival 22 - 24 May Cleckheaton Folk Festival, 3- 5 July Holmfirth ArtWeek, 5 – 11 July The Tour de Yorkshire Festival culminates this weekend with the cycle race taking place from Friday – Sunday.  It comes through Kirklees on Sunday so check the route for road closures.  You can experience the Tour de Yorkshire and enjoy some art at the same time: from the comfort of the Enjoy Art gallery in Marsden with a visual journey across the stunning local landscape or A View of Yorkshire, an exhibition of local photographers at Hepworth Village Hall.
