A fresh look at Uncle Vanya, Mermaid
and a Rugby Legend
|
The Quarry theatre has been transformed into an epic,
telegraph pole forest as Uncle Vanya attempts
to make his mark on the world, with darkly comic results. And as we
look ahead to March a rugby legend is being true to himself in Crouch,
Touch, Pause, Engage and in an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's tale, Mermaid shares
his outlook on life.

A Fresh
Adaptation of Uncle Vanya
★★★★ The Yorkshire Post
★★★★★ The Public Reviews
A family
laugh, bicker and knock back the vodka as they bemoan their rural
life. But for Vanya, a flicker of hope remains in the eyes of a
beautiful woman. Funny and tragic, this new Uncle Vanya
is not to be missed.
Now until 21 March.
