MEET THE JUDGES

In case you missed it, this week we announced the judging panels for the 2026 Women’s Prize for Fiction and Non-Fiction!

The 2026 Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction will be chaired by Baroness Thangam Debbonaire, member of the House of Lords and former Labour MP, joined by Roma Agrawal, engineer, author and broadcaster, Nicola Elliott, founder of NEOM Wellbeing, Nina Stibbe, novelist and memorist, and Nicola Williams, Crown Court judge and thriller author.

We cannot wait to see which books this line up of extraordinary women choose for the longlists next year. Watch the above to hear what the judges are most excited for, and learn more about their reading interests here and here.

BOOKSHELFIE X LAURA CORYTON

Feminist campaigner and founder of Sex Ed Matters, Laura Coryton is this week’s Bookshelfie guest! Laura talks to host Vick Hope about the books which have inspired her campaigning, the power of sisterhood and why sex education in schools still needs to evolve.

Listen to discover the five books that have shaped Laura most, and don’t forget – if you like the sound of Laura’s recommendations, you can head to our shelves on Bookshop.org to pick one up for your next read.
