Another pretty packed week, events-wise at Seven.

Thursday 16th October 7.30pm,
Wise Woman and Nina Harries arrives with a heady collision of lush vocal harmonies, cinematic strings and 90s girl power presenting tales of hidden women, through modern and ancient worlds, whilst bassist /vocalist, Nina Harries plays original material that has both an ethereal and an earthy modernist sound.

Thursday 16th October, 6pm – 8pm, best known for his work with Leeds based legend Mik Artistik, and acoustic roots band Colour Of Light,
Jonny Flockton has carved a path on the guitar as an individual voice.

Friday 17th October, 7.30pm, Deep Six Blues is one of the most compelling acts on the UK blues scene with songs built on spellbinding guitar riffs, driving bass lines, wailing harmonica and passionate vocals.

Saturday 18th October, 4-6pm, is
Autumn Sessions – Mookie + The Bab (with Elliot Roffe on Double Bass). Fuelled by long drives across desert landscapes taking in California, Nevada, this is an all-acoustic indie-folk group that captures the sound of the American Southwest, yet remains true to British working-class roots.

Mewl Music – Double Bill : Cronin (Ireland) and Jerry Joseph (USA), a double headline acoustic show from two internationally acclaimed acts.
Michael and Johnny Cronin are a Leeds/Irish songwriting duo from County Longford, Ireland, whilst Portland’s Jerry Joseph is a prolific and fearless artist whose songwriting, commanding voice, and electrifying performances have made him a respected figure in the global music scene.

Sunday 19th October, 1.30-4pm, JazzLeeds – Yorkshire Gypsy Swing Collective is a gypsy jazz supergroup with musicians from all around Yorkshire playing music inspired from legendary musicians Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli of the ‘Quintette du Hot Club de France’.
