Reopening Screening – Bradford on Film

Thursday 17 September – 16.30, 19.00

You can join us to celebrate the reopening of Pictureville Cinema with Bradford on Film, a wonderful exploration of the sights and sounds of Bradford from the last 120 years. We've delved into the collections preserved by the Yorkshire Film Archive to bring you this special screening.

Experience Tenet on The Region's Biggest Screen

Armed with only one word Tenet – and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the protagonist (John David Washington) journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.

We are thrilled to be reopening our IMAX screen with the unmissable new action epic from 2 October. Book your tickets from 26 August and experience TENET the way director Christopher Nolan intended, in IMAX.

Widescreen Weekend 2020

Between the 9 – 11 October we'll be celebrating large screen formats and pioneering cinema technology with our Widescreen Weekend: Theatrical Cut.

Highlights of this year's festival include cult films, classic cinema and family favourites such as The King and I, Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3D, Kill Bill: Volume 1 and The Goonies. Visit our website for the full programme across the film-packed weekend.

Welcoming You Back to Pictureville

We can’t wait to welcome you back to our cinema and to start enjoying films on the big screen again. To help us do this, our friends at the British Film Institute have developed an audience survey* so we can understand your film watching experience during lockdown, how you want the cinema to feel when you return, and what safety precautions you would like to see.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and we would really appreciate your feedback.

*The survey has been commissioned by BFI, and is administered for them by Populus, their partner research agency. Your contact details will not be shared and all of the completed surveys will go directly back to Populus as the designated data controller.
