The 12th
annual Short Screenplay Challenge kicking
off September 25th is a competition that challenges writers
around the world to create short screenplays (5 pages max.) based
on genre, location, and object assignments in 48 hours. Each writer
will participate in at least 2 writing challenges and as many as 4
depending on how well they place in each challenge. Feedback
from the judges is provided for every submission and there are
thousands in cash and prizes for the winners. In addition, we
will be donating two dollars from each entry to
global charities dealing with some of the most critical
issues affecting our planet, and writers choose where that donation

early entry deadline is Thursday, August 27th, so make sure to
