Granta's rights director Angela Rose leaves the publisher, after 25 years with the company.

Boldwood Books is marking its first birthday with three new authors and two extra team members, including the arrival of Emily Ruston as editorial director and Eleanor Foot as marketing assistant.

Carcanet Press has appointed Irish poet John McAuliffe associate publisher, for a period of six months. McAuliffe will take up the role on 1st August, and will share editorial duties with m.d. Michael Schmidt and managing editor Andrew Latimer.
