THE SPECIALS LIVE
AT THE PIECE HALL
We're
incredibly excited to announce that legendary pioneers in UK ska, and
one of the most influential and seminal acts in British history, The
Specials are coming to The Piece Hall on 27 June 2020!
Founded
in 1977, The Specials were at the forefront of the 2 Tone movement,
changing the face of UK music in the 1980s. The band reformed in 1993
and have wowed fans across the world on the live circuit since,
including a huge sold out show at Leeds' Millennium Square in May 2017.
In 2019 the band released 'Encore' their first album in 18 years, which
gave the band their first ever number one album, 40 years after the
release of their self-titled debut.
The
Specials bring with them a very special supporting bill that includes
Mod Rock Favourites The
Rifles and Ska stalwarts The Skints. With more artists set
to be announced, this show promises to be one to remember.
Tickets
for The Specials plus very special guests go on sale on Friday 15
November at 9am. Tickets will be available from See Tickets and Luna Tickets.
Members
priority booking opens on Thursday 14 November at 9am for 24 hours.
Members will receive an email 1 hour before the pre-sale begins with
details on how to book.

first wave of CHRISTMAS shows
revealed
We know it's only August, but we are so excited to
announce the first ten shows to take place in the magnificent
circus-style Salon Perdu this Christmas, a vibrant mix of entertainment
to keep you feeling festive throughout the season.
Alongside the Salon Perdu shows, the courtyard
will host a stunning Christmas tree, a thrilling fair-like Victorian
carousel and a cosy Deluxe Bar. A Christmas Fair showcasing some of
Yorkshire's favourite independent craft stalls, artisan makers and
pop-up food and drink traders for a festive shopping weekend. An array
of creative workshops will give visitors a chance to get crafty and
learn a new skill, while outside brass bands and choirs will illuminate
the building with festive cheer.
The full seasonal programme of events, workshops
and more than 30 shows, including for New Years' Eve, will be announced
in the autumn.

Tickets for the events listed above go on general
sale at 10am on Thursday 29 August. Members of The Piece Hall Trust get
exclusive 24-hour pre-sale access to tickets from 10am on Wednesday 28
