What's on in Kirklees

New brochure hits the stands... Whatever floats your proverbial boat, we have something for you this coming summer season.  There are top quality tributes, celebrated comedians, phenomenal plays and a crescendo of concerts.  Are you a music lover? We start the season in Huddersfield with a the chance to rock out to the Rolling Stones Story on 31 May.  Also on 31 May is a homage to Neil Diamond at Cleckheaton Town Hall.  June brings Walk Like a Man - a tribute to Frankie Valli to Huddersfield. Followed by What's Love Got To Do With It - featuring Elesha Paul Moses and a full ten piece band.  Beatles for Sale will be bringing a celebration of the fab four to to Cleckheaton on 14 June. The self proclaimed 'Greatest Rock band in the World' - Showaddywaddy hits Huddersfield on 28 June with some of their greatest hits.  Fans of the Spice Girls can relieve the nineties when Girl Power - The Spice Girls Experience comes to Huddersfield on 5 July.  We end the season with The World Famous Elvis Show - featuring Chris Connor on 21 September.  Find your show! Up for a laugh? You can't go far wrong by booking to see Jimmy Carr, who will be bringing his own brand of comedy to Huddersfield on 17 and 18 September.  On sale now for Autumn is a new star in the making, winner of America's Got Talent Paul Zerdin, who will be bringing his puppet party to Cleckheaton on 9 November.   Watch out for other comedy stars being announced soon on our Facebook page! Find us on Facebook Fancy something different? Interested in True Crime? Take a unique look into the mind of a serial killer with Paul Harrison. Paul has interviewed over 70 of the world's worst serial killers and will be sharing what he has learnt with the audience at Cleckheaton on Weds 26 June.  Looking for some drama? How about a spooky story of hauntings and horror courtesy of The Haunting of Blaine Manor at Batley Town Hall on 20 July. Make the most of the sun (hopefully)! Huddersfield's Greenhead Park hosts the Wannasee festival on the 27 July and Cliffe House in Shepley has a Car Show for motor enthusiasts on 10 August. Have you got into the Gin Craze? If you have, you won't want to miss trying some of the  150 gins on offer at the Dewsbury Gin Jamboree on 28 September (tickets on sale soon).  Tickets will shortly be on sale for our Christmas Party Nights at Dewsbury Town Hall,  this year they will have a 007 theme so we're applying our license to thrill.
