How are your London Book Fair preparations going? We can't wait to
see those of you who are attending.
Since 2013, BookMachine has run an annual networking event at the
Fair - it's a highlight in many a book fair diary, and 100s of
people sign up each year. We founded BookMachine to help
publishers, editors, designers, production managers, authors,
tech-types and marketing/PR pros to meet each other. At this event
(4.30 on the Wednesday) you
are bound to meet someone interesting to work with; it attracts
such a fascinating crowd.

Hi!
It's Laura from BookMachine here and I would like to announce
that there are just 4
WEEKS TO GO until the first Unplugged event
of 2019 on The
business of accessibility: content that is more usable is more
valuable.
This jam-packed soirée takes place on Wednesday 20th
February 2019 at The Century Club, Soho.
From
6.30pm the Club Room bar will be open for drinks.
You will be greeted by myself and Suzanne; and will have the
opportunity to MEET
AND MINGLE with Team Unplugged (our in-house team
who represent the event series), our speakers, sponsors and other
guests.

Ken
Jones (Director, Circular Software)
will be hosting the talks, which will start at 7.30pm.
He will be joined by Huw
Alexander (COO and Co-Founder,
textBOX), Stacy
Rowe (Service Manager, RNIB Bookshare), Alicia Wise (Senior
VP for Global Strategic Networks at Elsevier and a founding
member of ABC).
The panel will discuss WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO BE ACCESSIBLE
as well as why and how you can make it happen.
The talks will close with a short awards ceremony, given in
recognition of the work being done in the industry on
accessibility by top publishers and vendors.
Early bird
tickets have sold out, but there are still a
