#FestivalFever Returns

Over the coming months we will be giving you sneak peaks into next year's festival with the return of Friday Festival Fever, straight to your inbox! This will include special offers, special guest announcements, competitions and all you will need to start getting excited about the world's largest crime writing festival.

This week we announce the first Special Guest...

Lee Child

Festival Favourite Lee Child returns in 2017 to celebrate his 21st Jack Reacher 'The Night School'. The Festival returns to the Old Swan Hotel 20-23 July 2017 with exact event timings released in the Spring. It is said one of his novels featuring his hero Jack Reacher is sold somewhere in the world every twenty seconds.
Night School takes Reacher back to his army days, but this time he’s not in uniform. With  trusted sergeant Frances Neagley at his side, he must carry the fate of the world on his shoulders, in a wired, fiendishly clever new adventure that will make the cold sweat trickle down your spine.

"The Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival is the best in the world, and I should know, I've been to them all!"

Lee Child
