Damyanti Biswas who attended the May workshop said: 
 
 it was the workshop with Kirsty McLachlan and Jacq Burns that helped me polish up my one-line and single paragraph pitch to high sheen...and as a result I not only received multiple offers of representation.....Writing a publishable book is hard, but it is often harder still to bring it to the attention of the right people in the publishing industry.
