Jack Frost @ Seven

There is still time to buy tickets for Seven's Christmas production by the fabulous Mr and Mrs Theatre Company, tomorrow Saturday 19 December. Having delighted audiences for the past 7 years with their magical Christmas productions, Jack Frost is sure to warm the heart and bring festive cheer to all the family. Suitable for all ages from nursery upwards. Three performances at 11.30am, 2pm and 3.30pm  £6 /£4 children. 

On Sunday 20 January,1.30 – 4pm, join the Tom Sharp Jazz Orchestra at the Seven Jazz Xmas Party. Leeds trumpeter Tom Sharp has been rehearsing a big band who will perform some of the best classic big band charts with some of Leeds top young musicians. There will be funny hats …£10/£8 conc  Kids under 16 free. At 8pm in the bar, it's the Sunday Quiz, which continues each Sunday through the Christmas period. Free with raffle and prizes. 

A Screen Seven special on Monday 21 December, as part of British Film Industry LOVE season, when Seven presents Gloria. the movie is set in Santiago and centred on Gloria, a free-spirited older woman, and the realities of her whirlwind relationship with a former naval officer whom she meets out clubbing. Enjoy a celebratory free drink and reduced entry price plus sale of DVDs to help fund future Screen Seven films. Event starts at 7.30pm. £3.

The annual Café Scientifique Christmas Quiz takes place in the bar on Tuesday 22 December 8pm. Join the science boffins in  the bar for their annual Christmas brain-teaser. Free.

Seven will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day but look forward to some great events between Christmas and New Year. Sunday Jazz Unplugged presents The Great Escape Jam Session on Sunday 27 December, 1.30 – 4pm. Get away from the turkey sandwiches and winter sales to play or listen to some fine music. £7/£5 conc  Kids under 16 free.

On Monday 28 December, 5.30pm, Paddington, a film for all the family, tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says ‘Please look after this bear’ and offer him a temporary haven. £6 / £5 conc, £4 child.

Later in the evening at 8pm look forward to the end of year Acoustic Night in the bar. Bring your instrument or voice and join in or just come to listen to the sonorous sounds of local musicians. Free.

On Wednesday 30 December, 8pm, Kill For A Seat Comedy returns with more top notch comedians. This month Gein's family Gift Shop...best sketch act at London Sketchfest 2014...and Lost Voice Guy, who delivers his jokes via a text-to-speech app on his iPad. Plus special guests, introduced by your effusive host, Silky. £11/£9 conc, Doors 7.45pm

Round off the year and party your socks off at Seven's New Years Eve Party! This year the theme is 'Bond'... the best outfit wins a prize! Open till 3am! Live DJ and Free entry all night. Numbers are restricted so be early to secure entry. The best NYE party in Chapel Allerton. Free.
