CBeebies Christmas Igloo
Join us at MediaCityUK for a Christmas extravaganza with
something for everyone!
For one weekend only, the CBeebies Christmas Igloo will
be located on the MediaCityUK Piazza and visitors will have the
opportunity to come face-to-face with some of their favourite CBeebies
stars, take part in Christmas arts and crafts and settle down for
storytelling- all free of charge and no tickets required.
The CBeebies Christmas Igloo will be open from Friday
4th to Sunday 6th December 11am-4pm.

Makers Market
Kick start your Christmas shopping with the very finest
food, drink, art, design and modern craft carefully selected from local
artisans and businesses with the Makers Market during the weekend
(Friday 4th to Sunday 6th 11am-5pm daily).
There will also be special performances from The
Salvation Army Brass Band (Friday 4th 5pm-7pm) and the Stockport
Citadel musicians, who will perform a selection of Christmas carols
(Sunday 6th Dec 2-4pm).

The Lodge
The Lodge- a cosy winter wonderland pop-up bar featuring
bierkeller-style wooden tables and a roaring log fire, will be open
from Thursday 3rd December (11am-11pm daily until Christmas Eve)
serving a wide range of hot and cold festive drinks and food.

Seasonal Menus & Events

|
All the bars, cafes and restaurants at MediaCityUK, will
be offering seasonal menus and events, including Love Conquers All, who
will have Christmas Karaoke every Friday night in December. Enjoy a
visit to MediaCityUK’s newest food addition Pret A Manager and enjoy
their famous Pret Christmas Lunch sandwich.

Coming Soon:
LIGHTWAVES 2015
Quays Culture’s free digital light festival, Lightwaves,
comes to Salford Quays this December (12th-27th December 4.30pm-10.30pm
daily*) with three giant digital light sculptures taking over.
AMAZE, a towering psychedelic maze full of magical moments free to
explore will be on the MediaCityUK Piazza, where magical moments await
those who enter. Intrude by Amanda Parer is a family of giant, luminous
bunny rabbits, reminding us of the natural world, in an edgy, humorous
way in the MediaCityUK Piazza Gardens. Head across the water to the
Lowry Plaza for Cathedral of Mirrors and weave in and out of the
dazzling towers that light up in response to the movement of crowds.
*Please note the festival is closed on Christmas Day and
operating on Christmas Eve and 27th December 12pm-6pm
