My Search for Meaning

An evening of spoken word from prisons

Thursday 21 January 2016
Free Word Centre, 60 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3GA
7pm to 8.30pm
£7/£5 concessions

Join English PEN and  Full Circle Projects for an evening of spoken word performances from the My Search for Meaning project. Run by Full Circle Projects in five UK prisons, participants wrote stories, poems, and letters inspired by Viktor E Frankl’s classic book Man’s Search for Meaning.

Performances on the night will come from Joelle Taylor, Adam Kammerling, Jasmine Ann Cooray, Joshua Idehen, and Paula Varjack. Each performer will read work written by prisoners during stage one of the project, and share their thoughts on how they find meaning in their own lives. Hosted by Full Circle Projects founder Femi Martin.

This event will be recorded and screenings of the show will then be held in all five prisons involved in the project.
