Image: The dreaming betwixt Video: Bunny and the Beardman in Tullamore Audio File: Symphony of Austerity   Creative Kirklees Newsletter 10 June 2015 This week sees the start of the 8th Holmfirth Arts Festival with 11 days of multi-arts events and workshops in Holmfirth from 11 - 21 June.  The festival has something for everyone - from comedy to children's theatre, jazz to cabaret, storytelling, classical music and poetry – plus opportunities to get involved in walks, talks and workshops.  You can see all the events listed under the What’s On section or on the Holmfirth Arts Festival profile (in the profile click My Events – View All). Open Space event: Cultural Revitalisation of Huddersfield Are you interested in taking part in conversations about the cultural revitalisation of Huddersfield and how we can build a sustainable, vibrant cultural life for the town? Would you like to participate and share in an open space conversation and tackle the questions and issues that are important to you, to us, to Huddersfield?  If you are, come to an Open Space event on 15 July, 10am - 1pm at Huddersfield Art Gallery.  Places at the Open Space event are limited and must be booked in advance – you can read more about the event here. If you’ve not been to an Open Space event before you can read more about how they work at Open Space World.  Basically it’s a simple way to have open conversations, bring together different views and perspectives and develop ways forward that aims to be different to other meetings.
