The Hebden Bridge Arts Festival starts this weekend, for full details of the events, see the information below:
Festival time is nearly here. We're putting final plans in place and
hoping this lovely weather stays put!
The Festival kicks off on Friday with The
Hebden Shorts (now all sold out.) As well as a
preview of our Martin
Parr exhibition (to which you are all invited) and Andy
Kershaw’s Global Dance Night at The Trades.

Saturday we have Arioso, performing
works
by Stamitz, Gluck and Haydn at Wainsgate, as well as the Disco Mums
at Nelsons, take your pick. Sunday 29th is Street
Sundae - entertainment all over town, and bigger and
more fabulous than ever before! In the evening we give you Steve Richards Rock 'N' Roll Politics.
A brand new show where the audience will choose the main topic and
get the chance to become a party leader for the evening.
Monday, (everyone needs a night out...) You can't go to John
Shuttleworth unless you already have tickets unfortunately, but
you can see Daniel Bye,
part stand up, part storytelling at The Little Theatre, it will improve
your Monday no end.
Tuesday 'I Wish I
Was Lonely', theatre performance where you're
encouraged to leave your mobile on for once. Wednesday Simon
Amstell (last few tickets available) and Thursday George Monbiot and
Ivor Novello nominees The Leisure
Society see them in action here
