Festival in collaboration with West Yorkshire Playhouse are delighted to
announce that Maxine Peake (known for her roles in TV's Silk and Shameless)
will be in Ilkley on Sunday 8 June to talk about her theatre writing
debut for the West Yorkshire Playhouse - a specially commissioned adaptation
of Peake's acclaimed 2012 Radio 4 play celebrating the extraordinary sporting
achievements of Morley cyclist, Beryl Burton. With James Brining, Artistic
Director of West Yorkshire Playhouse.
