It's back - and looks
set to be even bigger and better than last year.
The Huddersfield Manga Con 2014 celebrates the literature, art and
Japanese culture of Manga.
Manga is a form of Japanese comic book, popular across the world for its
vast selection of genre and art styles.
Events and activities include:
• Stage events
• Cosplay contest
• Art contest • Raffle
• Manga, toy & food stalls
• Artists' alley selling arts and crafts
• Loli-lounge • Game room
• Literature activities
• How to draw/craft workshops
and much more.

£5 (Children under 10 go free with a paying adult).
Under 18s should be accompanied by an adult - please note, festival
stewards cannot be asked to take responsibility for children and

Polari is
based at the Southbank Centre and hosted by author and journalist Paul
Burston with guest authors, poets and performers.
This evening’s Polari, in partnership with the
Huddersfield Literature Festival, is the first in a series of national
events planned for 2014 – and the very first time Polari has been held
north of Watford!
