Details of a free author event for
librarians and teachers that is taking place on March 25th from
6.00pm, followed by a drinks reception.
Canadian author, Debra Ellis, introduces
her new novel for teenagers, which tells the story of a 15-year old girl
accused of being a terrorist in Afghanistan when her school is blown up by the
Taliban. Deborah Ellis has worked in refugee camps in Pakistan and Russia and
is a passionate advocate of the disenfranchised.
