| We've been working on something special. We're thrilled to announce that our new sister bar, Paper Plane, is opening this Thursday, right next door to us in The Grand Arcade. With a strong focus on exceptional drinks and service, the interior takes inspiration from 1970s Hollywood, the golden age of air travel, and the aesthetic of Japanese listening bars. We're calling it a love letter to the analogue age, vinyl-only music, beautifully crafted cocktails, exceptional whiskies, and an easy going atmosphere. We can't wait for you to see it. | Fight The Giant Doors 7pm | Band 8pm Fight The Giant is an emerging jazz fusion quintet based in Leeds, known for their innovative and accessible sound that blends dancy grooves with heavy bass riffs and rich harmonies. The band features an international award-winning rhythm section, including Jascha Bingham, a classically influenced pianist renowned for his emotive improvisation, Sean Blake, a double bassist who merges his experiences in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, as well as previous punk projects to bring the same intensity to jazz, and Adam Scott, a rock drummer at heart again moving to jazz, focusing on energetic grooves and creative rhythms.
